For families there are additional attractions such as a children's paddling pool with sun protection and a large playground that allows the little ones to have lots of fun while playing.

Another advantage of the Freibad Oberdorf is its family friendliness. Visitors can use a barbecue area with free charcoal and look forward to offerings in the restaurant with tasty dishes. The opening hours of the outdoor pool are seasonal: from May to August it opens from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Early swimming is also offered: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7 a.m. On Mondays the outdoor pool opens somewhat later, from 11 a.m. In bad weather, however, changes may occur.
