About Red Snapper

Welcome to the Red Snapper – a unique lakeside kiosk and restaurant at the Horgen-Käpfnach outdoor pool. Here you can enjoy an incomparable summer feeling right on Lake Zurich. Whether you are looking for a little break after a refreshing swim in the lake or in the heated pool, at the Red Snapper you will find just the thing. In the morning you can treat yourself to a fine breakfast consisting of fresh Gipfeli, Birchermüesli, and delicious omelets. For a small hunger we offer a selection of sandwiches, pretzels, and homemade cakes.

At lunch and dinner time a varied culinary offering awaits you, ranging from grill classics and crisp salads to fine pasta and fish specialties. Popular with our guests are the homemade meatloaf, the crispy fish nuggets (Fischknusperli), and seasonal risottos. Enjoy these delicacies combined with cool drinks or a select wine. Our restaurant remains open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the bathing season from May 1 to September 30. In fine weather we extend the opening hours.

The Red Snapper is also excellent for celebrations of all kinds. Whether a birthday, a company event, or a cozy evening with friends – our pavilion offers space for up to 40 people and the right ambiance for your events. You can choose individually suitable menus for your celebration, from Apéros and grilled specialties to a colorful salad buffet. Catering and party service are also available so that your celebration becomes an unforgettable experience.
