The FAI driving-instructor training institute offers professional training and continuing education for driving instructors in Switzerland. Our approach is motivated by the conviction that well-trained driving instructors make a decisive contribution to road safety. The trainings are varied and practice-oriented in order to convey to instructors the necessary knowledge as well as the required skills. Our programs are designed for both car and motorcycle instructors and meet the requirements of the asa-recognized continuing-education courses that are necessary for the mandatory further training of driving instructors.

We offer numerous continuing-education courses, which take place at six different locations in Switzerland. Participants have the option of attending the courses at a course venue provided by us, or of taking part in our "we-come-to-you" courses, which are conducted directly on site. Training for car instructors takes place over a total of eight modules, which require a period of at least 15 months. For motorcycle instructors, there are four modules, which likewise cover a duration of at least six months. In addition, we offer numerous specialized courses, such as "Chance Neustart," "VKU heute & morgen," and "Fit für Fremdsprachige," in order to promote continuing education in various areas.

Our institute maintains close cooperation with various partners and thus offers comprehensive support with questions about costs and financing options for the training. For future driving instructors, comprehensive information is available to prepare them optimally for the profession.
