Welcome to the Gemeinnützige Baugenossenschaft Wetzikon (GBW), which since 1946 has been committed to creating affordable housing and fostering a positive sense of community. The GBW has made it its mission to offer a quality of life based on community and sustainability. Our developments, which are more than just housing, create a home for everyone. We place great value on our members feeling comfortable and respecting their neighbors, because community and helpfulness are the pillars of our life together.

We offer a variety of apartments in attractive developments suitable for both families and singles. Every apartment is well located and functionally designed to meet different needs. The GBW currently comprises seven developments with 128 residential units and 24 apartments actively under construction. This variety of offerings ensures that there is something for everyone, and we make it possible for our members to live in a lively neighborhood.

In addition to housing, we also focus on sustainable development. Our developments are designed to be environmentally friendly and energy-saving. We believe that a responsible use of resources is important in order to create a livable future for everyone. At the GBW, it is not only building that is taught, but also communal living and respectful coexistence. 137 cooperative members live in our developments and contribute to communal life.
