Colonia Libera Italiana

The Colonia Libera Italiana is an important institution in Dübendorf that serves as a meeting point for the Italian community. Our organization, run by dedicated members, pursues no commercial interests and is not affiliated with any political movement. Rather, we invite all interested people to become part of our community and to actively take part in our cultural and social activities. Every contribution matters to us and helps strengthen our social bonds.

At regular intervals we organize various events, such as the 'Pranzo per gli Anziani' on February 15, which is accessible with prior reservation. A highlight of the annual calendar is the 'Festa del Socio' on February 28, which takes place at the Centro Parrocchiale Leepünt. In addition, on March 1 we celebrate the 'Festa della Solidarietà' at the Stadthofsaal in Uster. Our events offer not only the opportunity for sociable gatherings but also promote intercultural exchange.

Our opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday until midnight. Members can join at reduced rates, with a regular membership costing CHF 50.-. Students, pensioners and apprentices pay CHF 30.-, and married couples with pensioner status likewise pay CHF 50.-. Supporting members can join for CHF 100.-. The Colonia Libera Italiana is the ideal place for people of all ages who are looking for a connection to Italian culture and want to get involved in a warm community.
