Kinderkrippe Teddy's House

At Teddy's House, we welcome children with open arms in order to create a safe and cheerful environment in which they can freely develop and grow. Founded in 1998 by Agnieszka Sadek-Gorniak, the daycare center is the first bilingually licensed facility in Kilchberg and offers a unique mix of German and English in a loving learning environment. Our main goal is to give children a positive foundation for their later school years.

Our pedagogical philosophy is based on individual care, whereby every child is regarded as unique. We emphasize the importance of a bilingual upbringing in order to promote not only linguistic but also social, emotional, and physical abilities. We shape a varied day around themes that spark the children's curiosity, and integrate numerous activities such as crafting, making music, storytelling, and interactive circles. These activities help to strengthen language command and to develop fundamental skills in a protected setting.

In addition, we offer special German and English courses as well as regular children's yoga sessions to promote the children's well-being and relaxation. A special highlight of the year are our excursions, during which the children explore the surroundings and gather valuable experiences in nature. Close cooperation with the parents is essential for us in order to ensure the optimal development of each individual child.
