de HolzofeBeck is a bakery and pastry shop rich in tradition, which was taken over on March 1, 2024, by Marcel and Sarah Gerber in the third generation. With much passion, they run the family business at Marktgasse 51 in Winterthur and have set themselves the goal of continuing the establishment's long tradition. Here baked goods are created that stay in the memory. Each product is handmade with much love and high-quality ingredients, where possible from the region. The focus is on crusty breads, savory snacks, and sweet temptations. A special feature is the traditional baking method in the wood-fired oven, in which the high temperatures form a crusty crust and preserve the moisture inside.

In addition to the craft, the Gerbers place great value on freshness and sustainability. Over 20 to 24 hours of proofing, the dough develops its unique flavor, which leads to the baked goods staying fresh for a long time. An important aspect of de HolzofeBeck is customer focus. The bakery serves above all the retail market and supplies some restaurants in the city with its tasty breads.

In the past year, catering for various occasions was also successfully carried out, which motivated the company to expand this area. The Gerbers look forward to treating their customers daily with fresh, handmade baked goods and are available for individual consultations. Their opening hours are Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
