Hochbauamt des Kantons St.Gallen

The Hochbauamt des Kantons St.Gallen is the cantonal building authority for structural construction, based at Lämmlisbrunnenstrasse 54 in 9000 St. Gallen. As a government body, it is part of the public administration and responsible for the canton's building matters.

A cantonal building authority generally looks after the canton's public buildings and properties – from new builds and conversions to maintenance and the management of facilities such as schools, administrative buildings and other public institutions. This typically includes planning, overseeing construction projects, and safeguarding building quality and value preservation on behalf of the public sector.

As a government office, the Hochbauamt primarily serves the cantonal administration, professionals and members of the public seeking information on cantonal building projects. Further details are available through the official website hochbau.sg.ch.
