About Sauer Bar

Sauer Bar at Brühlgasse 35 combines unusual elements in St. Gallen: a wine store, a bar, and a link to the baking craft. The name plays on the artisanry of sourdough and fermentation.

As a wine store, Sauer Bar offers a selection of wines to buy and enjoy. Rounded out by the character of a bakery and bar, it becomes a place where wine, small things from the oven, and a glass come together – ideal for trying something new in a relaxed setting, drawing inspiration, and taking home what you liked. Buying turns into a small experience.

Sauer Bar is therefore aimed at guests seeking enjoyment off the beaten track, and at anyone in St. Gallen who values artisan baking and selected wine at a single address.
