Menoir stands for modern gastronomy with a regional focus. The owners Flavia Hiestand, Markus Burkhard, and Michael Schädeli emphasize quality, authenticity, and genuine craftsmanship. With carefully selected ingredients and a great deal of passion, a cuisine is created that combines tradition and modernity - honest, pared-down, and contemporary. At Menoir, the circular-economy philosophy is lived, which means that whole animals are processed and their various parts are used with purpose and care, whether for refined menus or straightforward dishes. Guests can assemble their personal 3-course menu for CHF 95.– from a carefully curated selection of starters, intermediate courses, and main courses, either with meat or vegetarian, entirely to their taste. Those who want to round off the evening with pleasure will find further delicious options in the desserts or the cheese selection. Menoir's location in the old village core combines the charm of a traditional country inn with modern flair. In addition to the set-menu tables, there is a regulars' table with a small à la carte selection, which makes it possible to drop by spontaneously for a plate or a glass of wine. In good weather, all dishes are also served in the idyllic garden. Hospitality is held in high regard at Menoir, which is open from Wednesday to Saturday from 6 p.m.
