Dolder Wellenbad

The Dolder Wellenbad in Zurich is a popular place for relaxation and leisure during the summer months. It opened its doors on June 19 and will be accessible to the public until September 13, 2026. During this time, visitors can swim athletically in a 50-meter pool, while the youngest can have fun in the paddling pool and the children's pool. What is special about the Dolder Wellenbad is the return of the historic wave, which will make the water experience more varied.

The opening hours are from Monday to Sunday, with special opening hours on certain days, particularly during the Wellenkino (wave cinema). Visitors should note that the Wellenbad may close earlier in unfavorable weather conditions. Getting to the Dolder Wellenbad is easy: you reach it by tram 2 or 3 to Romerhof, followed by the Dolderbahn to the mountain station, followed by a short 300-meter walk.

In addition to swimming, the offering also includes other athletic activities such as table tennis and volleyball. Refreshments are also taken care of: a self-service restaurant and a kiosk offer a variety of food, including burgers and fries as well as fresh, plant-based options. The generous lawn at the edge of the forest allows guests to relax and enjoy the day in nature. In addition, the sanitary facilities and changing rooms are barrier-free, even though direct wheelchair access to the pool is not possible.
