KARAMUK KUO was founded in 2010 by Jeannette Kuo and Ünal Karamuk, who bring their international experience and diverse construction backgrounds to the design process. Even though they take on projects of various scales, the focus is always on the relationship between space and program. Each project is approached with the optimism that architecture is the translation of fresh ideas into reality. The office's work is characterized by creative approaches, whether in spatial installations or complex institutional projects. KARAMUK KUO is constantly searching for new creative possibilities in order to advance innovation in architecture. In addition, the partners have a strong commitment to intellectual pursuits in design research and have taught since 2006 at various universities in the USA, Switzerland, and Germany. This expertise allows them to bring new perspectives and approaches to every project, thereby offering both functional and aesthetic solutions. With a clear shared vision and a common approach, they strive to create spaces that are not only outwardly appealing but also functional and adaptable in order to meet the needs of users.
