Raumbau AG is a metal workshop based in Zürich that specializes in the development and realization of individual projects. One of the notable projects was the spiral staircase in the Iselihof in Zürich, made entirely of black steel. Here, innovative techniques such as cutting out the tread positions with a tube laser were used. Another outstanding project is the brass railing for Bucherer in Zürich, which spirals over five floors and is fitted with 500 brass rods.
