Gotomo GmbH, based in Zurich, specializes in developing design and functional concepts for mobile and stationary passenger information. Our approach begins with a user-centered focus in order to ensure the best possible "passenger experience." Through early involvement in infrastructure projects, we can establish important foundations for placement or technology decisions and act as a sparring partner for innovative, user-centered customer information. We offer UX expert reviews, hardware and screen best practices, as well as comprehensive placement consulting.

During the concept and UX phase, we design information architectures that are modular, operationally sound, and barrier-free. Drawing on our long-standing experience in digital product development, we have specialized since 2019 in information design with real-time data and passenger guidance in public transport. We also support our clients with functional concepts, wireframes, and user tests, offering agile development support.

For prototypes and proof-of-concepts (POCs), we provide interactive no-code and low-code prototypes based on public data. This enables efficient feasibility studies, conserves internal resources, and reduces unnecessary spending. Our solutions can be deployed flexibly, whether in urban, suburban, or rural environments.

We also develop mobile applications and concepts for location-based real-time information that particularly support people with visual impairments. In this way, we contribute to improving accessibility in local public transport.
