Hauser & Wirth

Hauser & Wirth Zürich, Limmatstrasse is part of the former Löwenbräu brewery and has become a vibrant center for contemporary art. The gallery has two exhibition spaces as well as a dedicated area for books, in which artworks are presented that appeal to the local audience. The architecture of the complex supports not only the exhibitions but also various events and educational activities. This unique space for art offers a connection to the community and is regularly renewed with new exhibitions and programs.

In summer, the current exhibitions include "Avery Singer. War_overlays" and "James Jarvaise & Henry Taylor. Sometimes a straight line has to be crooked." These exhibitions can be seen until September 5 and show the diversity and depth of the artworks presented at Hauser & Wirth.

The gallery is open Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the exhibitions is free of charge and no prior booking is required. The gallery is easy to reach, both on foot and by public transport, with the nearest tram stop being Löwenbräu. In addition, there is parking in the inner courtyard, accessible via Sihlstrasse/Gerstenstrasse.

When planning your visit, important information is also available to you, such as access for visitors with disabilities. The gallery strives to be as accessible as possible and provides elevators. For families there is special support so that children under 12 can also enjoy the exhibitions when accompanied by adults.
