Observation Deck B

Observation Deck B at Zürich Airport offers a unique experience for everyone who wants to encounter air traffic up close. This terrace, which is now celebrating its 15th anniversary, has established itself as a popular destination for locals and tourists. Here, visitors can observe the airport's activity from the best perspective, experience takeoffs and landings of aircraft up close, and even see the pilots in the cockpit. The informative flight information displays provide everything worth knowing about the aircraft and their destinations, while a small mini-airport and a playground are specially set up for children to delight the whole family.

The terrace is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with free admission on the 15th of each month being a special highlight. In the summer schedule, which runs from March 30 to October 25, visitors can enjoy the terrace until 6:00 p.m., while during the winter season the opening hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Bistro Aviolino, located on the terrace, offers a selection of cold and warm snacks as well as beverages for in between.

On special occasions such as the National Day, event-specific activities take place, including brunch and ranger talks. There are also exciting guided tours that provide a deep insight into the activities at the airport. In addition, flight operations are commented on during certain periods, which makes the experience even more intense. Observation Deck B is not only a place for seeing but also for learning and sharing exciting moments.
