The Wohn- und Siedlungsgenossenschaft Zürich (wsgz) is a dynamic and liberal cooperative that was founded in 1944 and is based in Zürich. With over 1,100 apartments, the wsgz is one of the medium-sized housing cooperatives in the city and canton of Zürich. About a third of the apartments are located directly in the city of Zürich, while the remaining apartments are distributed across the entire canton. A small offering can also be found in Niederlenz in Aargau, where two multi-family houses are owned by the wsgz. The cooperative pursues the goal of creating and preserving housing that is not only affordable but also fosters social and communal life. The wsgz places great value on creating housing that meets people's needs and offers them a home in which they can feel comfortable.
