PD Dr. med. Patrick Imesch – Gynäkologie Bethanien

Welcome to the gynecological practice of PD Dr. med. Patrick Imesch at the Privatklinik Bethanien in Zürich. With a medical degree from the University of Bern, Dr. Imesch pursued advanced training at leading gynecological centers and gathered extensive experience in gynecology. As a long-standing senior physician at the University Hospital Zürich, he specialized in both conservative and surgical gynecology.

An essential focus of his work lies in the diagnosis and therapy of endometriosis as well as unexplained, chronic lower abdominal pain. In addition, he focuses on gynecological oncology and treats benign changes of the uterus, such as fibroids, cesarean scar dehiscence, and adenomyosis. In the practice, patient-oriented care is at the center, with individual needs always feeding into decisions about therapy and follow-up care. The consultation is open to all insurance classes, and surgical procedures take place at the Privatklinik Bethanien as well as at the University Hospital Zürich. Here, laparoscopic, robot-assisted, and open techniques are used.
