Dolder Waldhaus

The Dolder Waldhaus is a striking building that has enriched the Zurich skyline for over a century. Originally opened as the "Waldhaus Dolder" in 1895, the property has undergone numerous changes over the years. The current building dates from the 1970s and no longer complies with current building regulations. In 2016 it was closed to make way for extensive renovation work, which is due to begin in January 2026 and will take three years. The goal of this work is to create modern living space in the form of rental apartments and thus redefine the use of the historic site.
