Gastro Zurich, Hospitality Association of the Canton of Zurich

Gastro Kanton Zürich is the central association for the hospitality industry in the Canton of Zurich, representing the interests of more than 3,000 member businesses. Our goal is to strengthen the gastronomy scene through targeted education and continuing training and to be a unified voice for the industry. The association offers a variety of programs specifically tailored to the needs of its members. Our continuing education offerings cover all areas of gastronomy, from apprenticeships and hands-on seminars to special courses for aspiring managers.

Our programs are practical, easy to understand, and directly applicable, so that participants are optimally prepared for the challenges of the hospitality industry. The G1 Gastro basic seminar is especially recommended for those interested in entering the field without a publican's license. The training is subsidized by up to CHF 2,700, which makes entering the industry easier. In addition to the G1, we also offer recognized courses such as the G2 Gastro operations manager seminar, which aims to train future leaders who possess the necessary know-how for operational management.

Gastro Kanton Zürich is also a platform for networking and exchange, where members have the opportunity to discuss current topics and learn from one another. Our political representation actively advocates for the concerns of Zurich's gastronomy in order to create the best conditions for our members. The offering is complemented by numerous events and workshops that strengthen the community and open pathways for professional development. The association promotes not only training but also the advancement of young talent in gastronomy.
