A warm welcome to Tea-Room Ami, the popular café in the heart of Zurich-Seebach. Since its founding in 1950, the tea room has been not just a place to dine but a living testament to the history and culture of the area. Nestled in the neighborhood, just a few steps from the Felsenrain tram stop, Tea-Room Ami has always been a place where people come together, create memories and enjoy life. The tea room has accompanied many generations and has changed over the years without losing its original charm.

The origins of the tea room go back to Mr. and Mrs. Widmer, who laid the foundation for this beloved establishment. Their tireless dedication and the warmth they radiated are still palpable today. In the 1960s, Mrs. Fornellaz took the reins and modernized the café, making it part of the social life of Seebach. Under her leadership, the tea room became a place where encounters and friendships flourished.

Erika Hochreutener Amrein carried on this spirit from 1971, bringing an unmistakable atmosphere to the tea room with her passion for quality and hospitality. In 2009, Mrs. Agnieszka Dabrowska took over the management and kept the tradition alive with respect and care. Now Jelena Popovic has been continuing the legacy of this unique establishment since 2026.

Together with her dedicated team, she does everything to preserve Tea-Room Ami as a retreat where guests can not only dine but also linger and enjoy the hospitality.
