Bio Waidhof

A warm welcome to the Waidhof, your local organic farm in the Seebach district of Zürich. The farm is owned by Grün Stadt Zürich and has been managed by our family as a leasehold operation since 1984. Here, a very special atmosphere is created through a variety of animals and plants: around 30 dairy cows, 20 calves and cattle, 40 fattening pigs, and 260 laying hens support organic farming. This also includes bees, barn and house martins, ducks, a dog, and a cat, which enrich life on the farm. In the fields, we are engaged in both crop farming and grassland management in order to produce natural food sustainably.

In our self-service farm shop, we offer not only the products of our operation, but also regional organic products. Feel free to visit us during opening hours to purchase the freshest food. The milk vending machine is available to you around the clock. During regular opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday, you can stop by between 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. or from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. To make shopping as pleasant as possible for you, we accept various payment methods, including cash, debit cards, vouchers, and TWINT.

In addition, our offering extends to fresh bread, various grain products, eggs, various types of meat, as well as select dairy products. A highlight is our farm's own bread, which is baked fresh every Saturday. There is also always something to offer among our fruit and vegetable varieties, depending on the season. You are warmly invited to discover and enjoy the experience at the Waidhof for yourself. Our surroundings also offer beautiful leisure opportunities, including Lake Katzensee and lovely barbecue spots with mountain views, which make the visit a relaxing outing.
