Roter Delfin is a lively and laid-back restaurant in Zürich that specializes in regional, seasonal, and self-produced dishes. Our kitchen uses exclusively high-quality, organically grown products from Switzerland. Whether straight from the farm or picked from the tree ourselves – we guarantee that every ingredient is fresh and flavorful. At Roter Delfin, we don't just cook; we experiment with passion and creativity. This gives rise to unexpected combinations that delight your palate.

Visit us for an Apéro, for Znacht (dinner), or for a relaxed Saturday brunch. Our menu options include both à-la-carte dishes and tasting menus, served in the spirit of the motto "Es wird gèsse was uf de Tisch chunt!" (You eat what comes to the table!).

An essential part of our cuisine is preserving food, which allows us to bring tomatoes and apricots to the table even in the off-season. In our storeroom stand numerous preserving jars, filled to the brim with elderflowers and regional fruits.

The Roter Delfin team consists of Meret, Linda, and Sämi, who have stood for outstanding gastronomy since their student days at the Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. Through our passion for culinary and cultural discoveries, we explore Switzerland and bring authentic stories and specialties to our plates. We are not only in search of exquisite offerings but also organize various events such as Jass tournaments and Tichu tournaments, which are open to everyone.
